    variations in owner's manual holders

In looking at owner's manual plastic holders last weekend in LA, several differences were seen, and I was wondering if there's a way to date them by the colors on the inner surfaces.
All are red on the outside. One has red pockets and gray on the inside surface, one has red pockets and green on the inside surface, and one has green pockets and green on the inside surface.
    Any thoughts? Thanks, Bill Morris
