Tracing history - Does anyone know this car club?

Hi - my car is in the UK & is a 2.2s targa.

It has what looks to be an original sticker in the rear window for what I'm presuming is a car club: "Southern Pacific - 17th Wood & Oakland" (membership?) # 3096.

If anyone has heard of it and has any current contact details, it would be much appreciated. My car came to me from California 11 years ago and has no history, so I'm looking to see if there are any gaps that can be filled in!

    Many thanks

    Richard

Would love to see a picture of the sticker but it does seem to reference the Southern Pacific Railroad Station in Oakland, CA.

Thanks for the local link, I'll have a look around there too.

Thank you Chuck - I think it's quite cool too!

I've dropped an email to the Souther Pacific Historic and Technical Society's archivist, it seems they had depot there in quite a grand building, so I'm hoping they can help with any further understanding. We'll see, it's a bit of a long-shot!
