My first car was a very rusty 75 2002, so I have a soft spot for them. But I think if I ever lose my marbles and buy a vintage Beemer it will be a 2800 CS or 3.0 CS

    Love those cars... So gorgeous.

My brother had a 72 bavaria (malaga) when I was in college. Funny enough it had the more competent underpinnings of the two but when came to looks it was all about the CS.

I bought a Bavaria new in 72 with a 4 speed.Loved that car.It died of a defective cooling system and subsequent cracked heads..It was a design problem from the factory. It was one of the first in Denver.I could hold my own with anybody going over Loveland pass and the curves.Should have gone to jail!

They ALL suffered from cracked heads. I remember when my brother's went, he was not happy.

The CSs are indeed nice cars, I've had mine for a few years now, and it has almost become my daily driver.

    Please excuse the poor picture
