    Saving A 1966...I think I Can..I think I Can.

The famous words of the Little Engine The Could kept coming up to mind when I was introduced today to a 1966..."I think I can, I think I can" save this car. Certainly, an Aga Blue matching numbers sun roof 911 coupe is worth all the effort to save. As I flew up to Washington, I thumbed through my Porsche books and noticed how few of these special vintage cars were built. And the numbers surely get smaller for finding a 66 sun roof coupe. The owner, Steve, is as passionate about these vintage cars as Lance Armstrong is with his cycling. As you can appreciate from the few pictures, it's going to take some new panels and a whole-lata-welding. As I toured the car inside-and-out, I could only invision the final finished product in a flawless Glasurit single stage skin. Thanks Steve for the introduction of your 1966 911...I know I can.

Do you hear that sound? A high frequency, softer at first, growing louder as you approach.

It is is the song of the Sirens, luring you toward the rocks, beckoning you closer and closer.

    Can you resist?

Once they have you in their grasp, your boat shattered into a thousand matchsticks, you will realize there is only one way out.

    Perfection.
