    Running the Vin numbers

New to this with Porsche stuff. I have customers car and would like to know who, or how to run the vin number on the car to find out more about it. It would just be neat to be able to find out the history of the car. Possibly where it was sold, options.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Dewey

I sent an email to Porsche Classic, and they responded with the location of the original delivery, color codes and options.

You might also try putting in the VIN in the box on the upper right-hand corner of this site . . . searching for the number here.

    Same with Pelican Parts.

If it's an 'E,' then the 911E Registry site.

    And don't forget Google.
