Soon fs 100L steel tank update

I just post some short info here, before I make the sale add later on when ready
thanks for all the interest I have got, and quesitions, I will respond to some of them here

We are in a final stage , the resault will really be second to none
The tank will NOT be delivered as a full tank!!, you will have buy the top cover
and a bottom part ,to that you can buy center fill kit, which many of you guys know
I am working un an updated version of that , small changes , and a version that, will live up to the new FIA rules
or you can buy the orginal style fuel pipe incl the breather pipe
all options you have to weld in your self !
The tank will be some sort of a kit , you dont have to buy the new bottom , you can clean and use your old one , and only buy the top cover
whys that.. to produce and sell a complete tank, requiers alot of pressuer test, and certificats in a case of accident, and the thing goes in the air , to get these pappers, requiers ALOT of money and work and time, could be years and hundreds of $$$$

Will it be expensive, No not if you compared to what you pay for a normal repro tank,of ST fender flare, or a 9" fuchs , but it havent been cheap to make
its a huge form , and i was forced to buy 2 orginal tanks to cut up in parts to make the form, I have to calgulate storage, I doubt you guys, will buy the complete production run in a week, then the material cost
so Guys start your savings it will be a killer must have

I will also supply the fuel sender ,offcause

The bottoms are not produced by me, but antoher well known brand, I might be able to get some NOS bottom tanks, but they will be very expensive
not yet confirmed, if anyone would be interested in that

WHEN, I hope to show the prototype, at the Essen show !
production run April, in the mail by may month latest
shipping will be approx 100 Euro, since it will be a big box,

Pics and pricing asap I promis

    Regards

    Marek

    A Small update
Work is in full progress , small adjustments to the molds
the tank kit will come incl 3 plates ( dont know the english word )
you have to weld on to the tank bottom, like on the pic, to avoid the fuel to splash around , in corners
notice this is an orginal tank, cut in half ( the rusted one on the 3rd pic) look how clean the stell is on the inside !

another thing, which I understand, not many knows, there have been 2 productions of the 100L tank, notice on the back of the rusted one , its like stiched together
the black tank has a clean back, in one piece
another thing I notice is, the round bowl on the front have different shapes

my tank will be made like the black one

I have the fuel sender order in place , we had to do minor adjusments to make it similar to the orginal one , trust not easy to find , and offcause at a reasnoble price .

Well hang on , I am working on it

    Regards

    Marek

A little sad I know, but I'm getting rather excited about your new 100l tank kit - great work mate, now just need to find out more about those 'humanoid' prices

    Hey, Marek . . .

I believe the word you're looking for is 'baffle.'

Love to see more pictures of all the various pieces, including the sender. And any word on pricing?

This piques my interest substantially. Depending on cost I would love to get my hands on a few kits as well.
