What do you guys think about this 1970 T?

This car seems really interesting to me. I am looking for an affordable driver that I can retore and maybe hot rod a bit down the road. I am thinking of some gts seats. Can you tell from the pics anything else? Im wondering about the rear bumperettes, arent those on later cars? Thx for the help. Rob

Yes, the mounted bumperettes are from MY 1973. But the real ones are in the trunk.
Some other things (front spoiler, air chanel on dashboard, instruments, rear reflector band, seats, 911T on rear grill missing, headliner redone, rear mirror from +1972, rear and front door loudspeakers) are not original. (txt edited)

The headliner could have used a good tug and treatment with a heat gun.

The rear license plate panel was replaced with a fiberglass 'update' piece that includes the later styled overriders. Most have found there way to the landfill by now.

Be careful with that seller. Check out his negative feedback here on toolhaus.org

Interesting, thx. Strangely he has 191 100% feedback on ebay. Seems like a pretty legit guy on the phone. I figure he's flipping porsche cars and parts. Maybe I should hold out for something more local and private party.

I believe the rear bumperettes are from 1974+ to go along with the rear end treatment. Either way, I believe that update is easily removed. Other comments?
