what is the steel gauge of the inner fender?

    Friends,

can anyone tell me what steel gauge to use for a patch to an inner fender? it seems heavier than 20 gauge.

also, the steel gauge for the forward frame rail, as it passes the front edge of the door?

    thank you.

All exterior panels are 20 guage.
Some frame rail sections are 18 guage.

I've had to do a lot of fabricating on upper cowls and dashboards,
    it's all 20 guage.
