    my COA Says "light metal wheels"

    i have a low-number 1968 911 targa. the COA says it came with "light metal wheels."

    does anyone know what that means, exactly?

    Should mean 5 1/2 x 15 Fuchs. 68 was the only year for that size.

    'Light Metal' is a relatively standard 'jargon' for Aluminium or Magnesium Alloys.

    light metal wheels,= direct translation of leichtmetallfelgen, (Aluminium wheels,...Fuchs wheels)
    leicht=light, metall=metal,felgen=wheels
    this COA was filled out by a german with limited language skills,

    i like the fuchs, but i was kind of hoping it might mean that it could be something else. there are some pretty cool old school wheels out there. but thank you, guys.
