    67S Engine sheetmetal NEEDED

Desperately need the large piece of sheetmetal at the rear of car, pulley area. I have one with the round recess and the one without but they do not fit. I did not think there were more than two versions of these. Help!! Please e mail me direct DAhearn67@gmail.com Thanks.

Is the problem the fit at the rear engine mount? Perhaps photos of both your sheet metal and the engine mount might help. I believe that the rear mount in the early 901s was different form the '67 engine mount. Given how tough it is to find this sheet metal, you might be better of finding the rear mount that works with it if in fact that turns out to be the problem.

Thanks Neil. That is the problem, the cutout for the mount. So I will try and find an earlier mount. Anyone ?? Thanks again.

Actually there are 3 versions for the SWB sheetmetal.

The bottom up to Aug '66.
    The middle MY67
    Top MY68

I believe that MY67 + MY68 t(and furher) take the second version of the engine mount

Don I figured the picture could already be of help in your search.

Mines actually all goes w/ engines / cars (longer term projects) but if Tom can not help you out we can talk since your car might be on the road year(s) before mine.
