First post and a question about steelies

This is my first post on the forum, although I have already spent a fair amount of time reading through old threads trying to learn as much as I can. I just purchased my first early 911, a 71', from Keith Ennis (a great guy to deal with btw): http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...hlight=martini

I have not even taken delivery of the car, and I am already looking at a set of steelies Keith was generous enough to include an extra set of tires in the deal, so I thought some steelies would look great painted in black. Would like to have them widened from 4.5" to 7" (or maybe even 8"). I have a couple of questions:
1. Can I fit 8" wheels in the rear? If so, what should I do offset wise? The wheel arches are stock.
2. If I go 7" all around, what offset should I shoot for?

Unless someone else can recommend another shop. I called Stockton, and there apparently has been a death in the family. They are not accepting new orders.

I used Bolton wheel in Gardena and was happy with them BTW I have a steely for sale on Page 10 parts for sale,
