    Question Rear radius arm removal

    HELP! does anyone know any trick to removing the rear radius arm? I don't want to damage it and used up every swear word I know without success.

    If you are referring to the spring plate (mounts one end to the torsion bar the opposite the swing arm) I've actually been knee deep this past evening
    wrestling with mine as well, found a nites rest and judicious use of two pound mallet do the trick!....Bert

    Now if someone would let me know a trick to remove the original bushes...things would be peachey

    Thanks for the help I was going to go to the trouble to make a puller with the original cover mounting bolts. I'll give it a go. Can you still buy the rubber bushings after the heat destroys them?

    Yes, rubber bushings are available.
