    Muffler Skirts

I have been following some of the discussions about muffler skirts and see that there ar a couple ofReplica parts available on EBay.

They all seem to be 3 piece units which is wht is ahown on the PET.

We have a 1966 car fitted with a single piece muffler skirt which looks original and ifts well.

Has anyone ever seen such a part?

I know the original OEM's came in three pieces.
Due to different bumper lengths on SWB and LWB, the outer piece came in two sizes: one for SWB and one for LWB.
I also know - back then - there have been period "tuning" parts available, produced by independant parts producers.

    You might show some pics.

This was fitted to a 911S which was built in November 1966 and the owner says it has always had this muffler skirt fitted.

Mike at Restoration Design in Guelph Ontario Canada has 3 piece units for sale as well. Appear to be very nicely made.
