Car history , getting a report can be worthwhile.

Browsing around this morning looking for a photo of 1968 911L rear seats in a elephant hide optioned car. I stumbled across this

Seems that European Collectibles should have gotten one on this car :

    "Car #: Po2242
    Price: SOLD
    Year: 1968
    VIN: 11810177
    Engine: 2.0-liter
    Mileage: 41,350 miles
    Color: White/Black
Description: This is a short wheel base early 911 that is a driver in its current condition. It is solid and is running driving with four wheel disc brakes, 130 horse power 2.0-liter engine and 5-speed transmission. Very complete but needing cosmetic restoration. "

    More photos here ( http://www.europeancollectibles.com/..._inv_id=Po2242) .

If you search the web about this car (or this forum) . Youwill see what i mean.

My only thought is....was this the original motor in the car . When European Collectibles had it ? :
