New Member and project questions

Hello everyone. I look forward to participating in this community.

I am a previous Porsche owner and have recently acquired a '73 911T project. The car was completely disassembled but complete for the most part. I received the car as a roller with about five crates of parts. The car had been disassembled to be repainted in the mid 80's and sat in that condition until I saved it in December. It is completely rust free but needs a few things, like a windshield and some misc. bits. As I am putting the car back together, I've noticed some things that I consider to be inconsistent or at least questionable and was hoping you guys can help.

Here are a few that I hope you guys can help me with:
1. The rear emblems are silver and include the P O R S C H E letters, 911T badge and the grill 2.4 emblem. From what I can tell these are supposed to be black? I'm not sure that they were changed as they appear to have aged with the car. Are these correct?
2. I recently photographed a fellow PCA members '73S (who also recommended this forum) and his rear deck grill is plastic with no badge. Mine is metal with the 2.4 grill. Is this original for the '73 T?
3. The car is a Sportomatic but does not have the sportomatic badge on the rear deck lid. I've seen this on some cars but didn't know if this was an option or a specific year/trim feature.
4. The car has cookie cutter wheels on it, which from what I understand was an option on this car. Would it be correct to swap to Fuchs for this year/trim?

Welcome to the Registry. Hopefully I can provide some answers that will help, and I'm sure other members will contribute if I'm mistaking:

They could be correct. Originally on the 2.4 models, letters were black but often became gray with age. Silver seems wrong but mat gray is possible (please post images). Here is a rear view of a 911T 2.4 I owned. You can see the letters have gone "gray":

Metal with 2.4 badge on grill is correct.

My understanding is that a "Sportomatic" badge was placed below the 911T logo no matter the model. Perhaps it could be specified without:

Yes, it would be correct. Both wheels were available.
