Smile WTB Engine Compartment Sound Deadner

I am looking for the engine compartment sound deadner for a 1969. This is the padding which is glued to the engine firewall and the upper section on the rear cowl and it is about one inch thick. Anyone know of an original, even needing restoration, or suitable replacement material?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have one to sell but I can get you pictures of mine if that helps you. Mine is an early 66 would that be the same?

A company called isoproq sells a product that might do it. I have never compared it 1:1 but can do so if you have some time and can not find anything else.

(BTW how long ago did you have your red Carrera Speedster?)

Thanks Richard for the offer. The first thing I must do is to acquire a piece of original material, which I can do at Carquip in Boulder. After that we can make comparisions, I will keep in touch.
