FS: '74 Carrera backdated to RS Replica

Probably of limited interest due to being RHD but please find below a link to the UK DDK forum where I have listed the above for sale.

I'd imagine that our brothers in Japan or Thailand would be jostling each other for this.... or better still, our mates down under..

It seems like a nice car. Except for the mirrors, which ain't no big deal... anything else to note why this hasn't sold yet? I thought the market was getting brisk?

The mirrors are 'correct' for a rhd backdated '73 RS'. 73 rhd RS cars received the round durrant type. (unless of course you mean you just dont like them )
Its funny it hasnt sold because it looks a nice car but then it falls between two stools doesnt it? On the face of it, it seems a shame to have made a genuine 74 RS into a replica 73 RS. However, it will no doubt be a very sweet ride for anyone who wants the RS experience for a fraction of the cost of a real 73. Great colour too. I wish the owner good luck with the sale.

This car sold just a couple of months ago on DDK. What a coincidence!

    Mike,

Thanks for the correction. It's just that I haven't seen any RS with Durant mirrors. Maybe, just haven't seen any RHD RS...better still. I learned something
again. More power to you and the board.

BTW, I agree with you being a sweet ride either way....
