    Pastel blue - 20 / 321

Does anyone have a very good 911 pic of this colour that I can use for my desktop pls ?
I have been recently looking at some calender pics of pastel blue 911s from the '72 and '73 years and have been reminded of how good this shade is.
I believe that not many in this colour would have come to Australia.
In '74 I did a tourist delivery of a 911 S 2.7 in Mexico blue but in hindsight ,it didnt have the same impact as pastel blue.

    TIA
    Dennis.

you are right about not many delivered to Australia Dennis

    My records have 6 delivered, 3 in 1970 and 3 in 71.
the 1970 ones were 2 5speed T Coupes (both since repainted in light ivory), and a 5 speed E coupe
    the 1971 ones were a 4 speed T coupe, a 5 speed T coupe and a sporto E coupe
unfortunately i don't have any photos of them in original paint

    Dennis,

Probably my favorite colour for an Early 911. Nice recent example on John Goriup's 'Porsche Picture of the Day' thread here. Not Australian delivered, not original paint... but very nice IMHO.

    Thumbs up

    Dennis and all,

Our friend Mark Motshagen (posts here w/ his own name) owns one of the nicest Pastel Blue cars we have here locally.... I believe this car is all original paint......

    Cheers

    Dennis,

FYI: The project car I sold to John S was originally Pastel Blue - found lots of it when we started pulling it apart.

Mike Gillies here in Brisbane has a concours winning Pastel Blue car (but not an AU delivery). I can try and find or obtain some nice photos for you?

    Thanks for the replys.
The best shots seem to be with the car out of the sun - it seems to 'wash' the colour out a bit.
I recall the same problem with both Mexico blue and Sahara beige .
John, yes pls - I haven't had much contact with Mike for quite a while.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.
