    over the top...

I went to a track day at Sears Point today and the California Mille 2011 stopped by to do a couple of hot laps. There was Martin Swig, who puts on the Mille, in his Bentley 6.5 liter who has one of the best collections in the country and Wayne Carinni from CCC in a Renault Dauphine. Wayne claimed the fastest lap ever in a Dauphine recorded at Sears Point. Gotta love it. He says four more years of his show.

There were about 60 cars all paying $7500 for the experience. No early P cars but a couple of sweet 356's

Over the top goes to the McLaren...not my cup of tea but for the guy who probably has everything you'll need this car to complete your car portfolio. Dig the red interior though.

My brother rolled a Dauphine, not much to damage, they rolled it over and popped the roof back up. They rusted just standing there. What other Dauphine lapped Sears? Wasn't that a Porsche design while he was a prisoner of war? Or was that the R4?

I don't know if it's the Sterling Moss addition. The guy said there were 5 in the US.

Yes but Bentley, Lagonda and 300SL pix can be a unique taste much like the Mclaren. Champagne anyone?

More pix for my buddy Kent!

I believe Carinni was thinking, "Please don't take my picture in this car".
