    Option code 9369 for a 1969 911s

    Hello,

Does anyone know what this option code is? I can't seem to find it listed in the Red Book or anywhere else. It is sometthing to do with the paint. Special clear coat or someting like that.

    Regards,

    Frank

If the car is a 1969 and has silver paint, then the paint code on the badge should be a complex two line version. A photo of the badge or a careful transcription of the code would be very useful. I have about 3 variants of the code, not sure if they are different or some are typo's. The badge is on the left door hinge post.

For the records (and posted elsewhere).

The info you received was correct, Silvermetallic was within option 9369, priced as paint to sample colors (even it was not one but a special paint factory colour, color code 6851).

"9368 special paints or special colors
    (6821 through 6838, 6852, 6853, 6854 according to special colour book)
    US dollar 208.00"

"9369 Silvermetallic (6851) and special colors outside special colours book (6861)
    US dollar 341.00"

    9368 > Sonderlack
9369 > paint to any sample / Silvermetallic
