    Rocker Panel Deco 1965

    Hi,

I bought an original rocker panel deco for my 1964 911, but I am not sure if this deco is correct for 911 or 356. How long should a 911 deco be?

I am confused about the mounting of these, too. As per my manuals these decos should be mounted with usual tapping screws. The deco I have came with screws which require hexagon nuts. Do they come allways like this today?

    Thanks,
    Mark

It looks like a 356 one to me. I'll check my new ones tomorrow.

Yep, I looked at the new Factory ones I have and they have no studs just small holes for screws. Thats for a 356.

I just measured an original one and it is 1243 mm. Pay attention to the ends too. The ends (tips) should be radiused and not pointed as I have seen on some of the aftermarket ones.

The one I do have is 1245 mm and the ends are radiused. So I guess the mounting screws are the only difference.
