Cloth Recaros really nice shape. Fuchs 6 X 15", too

Real late '70s-early 80s Recaros for sale at TRE. you rarely find them in this condition. Bottom outer driver side bolster shows slight flattening and a little fabric stretch. No tears, cigarette holes, etc. I was tempted, but not in the budget for me, at this time. I snapped a couple pix. They're asking $975/pr

Sorry for cellphone pix. Full shot is pass. side, which is typically this nice. Partial shots are driver's side.

TRE also has a very nice set of 6 X 15" fuchs. SOLD

I know Dave doesn't have time to pimp his parts, but I owe him a few favors...

For those contemplating buying the seats, I can only offer a strong recommendation. Yes, they are wrong for an early longhood, and they look slightly out of place (although much less out of place than a pair of tombstones), they are great seats for those on a budget who enjoy spirited driving and hard turns.
I have these in my 71T coupe and they are light firm and inexpensive enough to not worry about sweating or spilling a drink on them They are probably 30lbs lighter when installed as well and more than a few thousand less than the factory correct ones. Here's a few pic's of mine.

    Recaro Question, slightly OT

Will these early Recaro's fit in a 914?? Has anyone tried this? I have no problem removing the backpad and center console. Sorry to hijack for a non 911 question, so help me quick before I get booted

    Thanks,

    Nick

    not sure Nick
There is a dark grey 914-6 with these installed, in Santa Barbara area. I think it is Bob Roe's car. I do not know what he did besides remove the back panel to make them fit
