    Factory Sway bars for Sale *16*/15mm

    Up for sale is:
    - a harder to find factory 16mm front sway bar and associated hardware
    - a 15mm rear bar
    $399 everything in the pictures is included, the bushings are new
    buyer to pay for shipping and insurance

    What year was it an option to have a 16mm front and 15mm rear sway from the factory?

    I'm not sure when the 16mm became available ( 67/68? ). When I get a chance I'll check my Sports Purposes manual.
    AFAIK you would have to special order a 16 bar, it was not standard.

    As far as I can tell ( i just read the suspension section of Frere's book to check) . A 15mm rear bar would have to be an optional bar also. I do not find it as standard for any production model ....early or late.

    The SWB parts book shows: Fronts 11 for 911L; 13 for 911,912; 15 for 911S; 14 & 16 optional. Rears 15 for 912,911 model A; 16 for 911, 911S. the way I read it the rears are optional. Possibly the fronts were optional too. Some translation difficulities. LWB shows 15 front and 15 rear only available.
