    Parcel Shelf and Seat Bottoms

Has anybody tried the Parcel Shelf and Seat Bottoms replacment pannels for the 69-71 911's from Restortions Design yet? They do not stamp the middel vertical section yetThe new owner there is great, you get your phone call and questions answerd right off. What a big change. Anybody had any issues with the new ownership?

I just ordered the parcel shelf - I'll let everyone know how it works out.

    Best,

I have a friend who I think got one of RDs early parcel shelves for a SWB 911 project. I'll check in with him.

    My friend's assessment:
Both parts were really great quality.
The shelf went in with very little effort. There is a panel on the shell below the window with lots of rounds holes in it, like to defrost, and it required lots of repair before the shelf could be welded in.
The rear seat pans were one of the first sets to come out of the die, so we got them un-trimmed. We were in a hurry, so we knew this and ordered them this way. It obviously took a while to trim and fit. Some of the impressions were slightly less deep, than the original (very minor), and you have to re-use all of the seat mounting points, wire loom tabs, etc.
As with any metal panel you spend hours fitting it, and minutes welding it.
    As always, YMMV.
