    Recaro bucket

Calling on the Seat Doctors: I have a late 60s early Recaro racing bucket that will likely need seat recovered (sort of a black cordoroy). Is this material still available? Where? Thanks in advance.

I've seen a couple of corduroys out there. Note that the original Recaro tight cord isn't available that I have seen. The ones that are out there are a narrow (8 wale that is a match for Porsche original) cotton/poly cord that holds color perfectly, BUT it's a little shiny due to the poly, but it won't lose it's color. There's also a nice all cotton cord (not shiny!) that Tony at Autobahn Interiors carries, but any all cotton fabric in black will eventually start to fade in color if left in the sun for a long length of time. There are UV products out there that can help with this.

Thanks a lot. I will check out.

Always great to have a few experts around (you sound like you are one!)
