Sure, we like all early cars. Post some pics, especially if it's a shorty.

Thanks, This is my 1st one, it was given to me by a customer. Its been sitting under a tree since 1995!, it looks to be all there except for the original air cleaner. and is straight as an arrow.
    Its a 1966 912 factory mag's too!

Is it true the 185/70/15s are no longer made? Im not opposed to a bit wider tire!! any suggestions?

Yolur car is ok by me. My first porsche was a 1967 912 Targa.

Model year 911/912's made between 1965 and 1968 had a wheelbase that was about 2" shorter than those made from 1969 on (the overall body length is the same for all 911's to 1989). This was done to improve handling. As a result, the early 911/912's were more interesting to drive.

Many of us use 195/65-15 or 205/60-15 tires. You can get the original sizes from Coker tire (if money is no object) or Vredestein.

    How about some pictures?

195/65-15 is popular with the 912 guys. The diameter is close to the original 165/15. On my '66 they rub a little at full lock on the inside fender, but I suspect that could be fixed with a spacer to '68 specs. I just don't do full lock anyway.
