71 Hot rod Just About Finished

The shop that I used (KMW Motorsports/Kevin Wheeler)timed this project to be finished just as I returned from deployment, they were great to work with, delivered on exactly what I was looking for and "almost" under budget.
I wanted a flaired & tailed S "ish" 71 hot rod with a built 2.5SS to stay with the period correct flavor. I asked them to strip as much weight as possible and still keep it streetable (2161 with a full tank). Lexan back three windows and anything not absolutly needed taken off/out before being painted.

    The Motor:
    - 7R case: Ollies did the work, Install Case savers, shuffle pinned, install timecert on through stud at intermediate shaft, mild boat tailed, Align bore, Spot face throughbolt holes, clean out all oil passages.
    - GT3 Oil pump
    - 66mm Crank, knife edged, oil mods, polished & balanced by Pauter
    - Pauter Rods
    - Mahle 90mm Barrels (mooned)
    - JE 10:5:1 Pistons (I mix Race Gas with local 93)
    - 2.7 Heads modded by Extreme (Their 2.5 HSR Mods with their springs and valves)
    - DC-62 cams
    - Hydraulic tensioners, Jerry Woods mod, Supertec Arms
    - Supertec Pully
    - Supertec Studs
    - 46mm PMOs
    - JB Twin Plug Dist
    - 901 Shop Headers
    - M&K 2 in 2 out, modded by my shop
    - RSR type flywheel
    - Dual oil coolers in front fenders
I know I am forgetting something.

-Tranny is a 915 with an 8:31 and short gears through 4th, a tall 5th and a Guard LSD
    - Elephant Racing "Street Track 2" but with Tarret Sways I picked up used.
All the body and most interior parts came from TRE (Thanks Dave),
    - Wevo tranny parts, shifter and motor/tranny mounts
    - Alloy S front brakes by PMB with SC rears

Currently have 7800 RPM pills in it, built for an easy 8K but playing it safe, love the smaller peaky motors but this thing pulls.

    Guys,

Thanks for the nice comments.... I tried posting this the other night here and it would not post, so then I ended up posting on pelican and then I see it here today....

I will have some additional pictures of it soon and will get them up. I started this project two deployments ago and it is 99% finished. The shop that I use (KMW) was fantastic, they worked within my budget, kept me up to speed with email/pictures, my being deployed twice during the build and had it waiting for me the day I got back, good people.

    The color is Tangerine.

    Thanks again guys.

    Jimmy
