    Purchasing Fuel filters.

Anyone know where to get fuel filters besides Pelican Parts? I wandered into Napa Auto parts, and the filter they had was too small. Oreilly was no luck at all, can't even order one. They had one filter from 65 to 73. I'm guessing it was for carburated cars. Mine is a 69S, so I need one for the first gen MFI. I just can't believe a frequently changed part costs $57.00.
Anyone have luck at a Pep Boys or Grand Auto or anything?
    Thanks,
    Scott

We're lucky to have these at all, for a long time they were unavailable from Porsche.

There is only one manufacturer so whether you get the filter from PP, Stoddard, WorldPac, the Dealer or whatever it's the same part, where you buy it determines the discount from list (and which businesses you encourage to continue to supply the community)

If you are worried about changing it why not hollow it out and use a replaceable filter somewhere else?
