    Restoration of Cibie hood lights

In the proccess of restoring an old set of cibie hood mounted lights... one took a good whack from a member of the local deer population. I would like to get the lenses polished/restored. Is there a simple/effective way to do this? Or a send out source?

Also, several of the little plastic buttons that the lense mounts in are cracked or broken. Is there a source for these?

    Thanks in advance.

Replacement parts will be rare as hen's teeth in my experience. It my be easier to buy another set (I have a few originals). Also, there's always the reproductions (see hood lights)...

Thanks. Thinking more about this, I think i can turn the buttons. But the glass is pretty chipped. Will check into the repros.

FYI, the guy that makes the repros will also sell replacement parts...trim rings, lenses etc... The marking are not quite as clear as the originals but you would need to have them side by side to really tell a difference. I would highly recommend the repros.
