    Hi,

Just in case you were not aware you can now buy new door skins from Porsche, they have the additional holes for the later mirror but they are much better quality than the repro panels.

    I have a pair of doorskins I didn't use.
I realized I didn't have the skills to install.
They are in green primer but they are not NOS.
Probably repro but they look nice to me.

They have a 964 part number. Where are they made? Is it easy to fill all the holes? (it's a for a passenger door).

    Hi
Sorry if my last post above appeared impolite. Was not intended to be that way (brain fade). Anyway, I definitely still would like to know where the new door skins are made. If they are made in Germany, fine I'll buy some but if they are made in Taiwan or China..

    Hi,
They are proper Porsche panels and I suspect are made in Germany but I 100% cannot guarantee that. The additional holes and support metal are an easy fix. The main question, should be, do they fit? And the answer is yes.
Here is one fitted to a RS rep we are building. You can see the mirror holes, which have since been removed.

    Alan,
Thanks. What do you mean by support plate?

where the mirror fits is an additional metal skin, either leave and weld up the holes or it can be removed.
