Found in the depths of a dealer parts department... 1169 date coded Fuchs. May be the last "new" 5 X 15-1/2 anywhere. I have no idea what this is worth, so I put it on eBay. One only.

i want what it's worth, but unfortunately, I don't know what that is, so I put it on eBay with no reserve.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked by where the bidding went. Final price $1404.89!
UPDATE: the buyer has asked to unwind the deal. He somehow thought he was getting 4(!) We'll see if the #2 bidder was under the same impression.

It could have all been done here friendlier, faster & without eBay fees!......Cliff
Perhaps, but I've never successfully sold anything on this BBS that I can recall.
Edit: I did sell a shifter over a year ago. By comparison, I've sold 12-15 items on the "other" BBS in that same period. I usually list here as a courtesy. The list is "purer" for the longhood crowd (of which I'm usually a member).

So did your sale end up going thru at that price?
Well, funny story about that.
The high bidder may have been high... or reading too fast. Because he thought he was buying 4 wheels for $1404. He did an instant payment when he won. When I sent him a confirming email he pretty much flipped out and begged me to let him off the hook -- which I did by refunding his money. Only problem was, I had already initiated a transfer to my bank account, which did not have $1400 in it. So when I found out i could not stop the transfer, I had to scrape together a bunch of cash and cover the refund. 2 days later, his payment hit my bank account, and the day after that, the payment from the under-bidder. So the wheel is gone. As to what it sold for, I will leave that up to the actual purchaser to disclose if he wishes.
