'66 SWB car, what is the best brake upgrade?

I'm looking for a brake upgrade for my '66 hot rod. Anyone have any suggestions? The car is only used for street use, but with the upgraded motor, factory brakes feel very insufficient!

Granted my 67S has ventilated rotors, but with good brake fluid and porterfield pads no amount of hard driving out in the country will make them fade anymore.

The pedal "feel" in a swb is softer than in later cars i've found, not sure why. If you haven't made them fade though, you don't have a problem.

This has been discussed before. The trick is to go to vented rotors front & rear. There is a Brembo caliper with 3" mounts very similar to the 911S aluminum caliper for the front. I think AlanUK has the rear calipers figured out.
