    Ultra-rare early 380mm Momo prototipo

This is a first-generation prototipo. The vintage is approximately 1967-69 but could be from the early 1970s. Nice patina on the leather ... The spokes are nearly perfect and the stitching is complete and unbroken. There is one minor scuff at the bottom edge of the leather covering that is completely out of sight when mounted.

A Momo from this era is most likely hand-made. It is an extremely rare wheel.

    $1600 plus shipping.

Very neat wheel, very interesting thread.

I have an old Mo-Mo wheel. No idea what diameter it is. Spokes are silver, leather grip is black and its in decent shape. I have been letting the kids play with it, perhaps that's not a great idea. It has a slight dish to the spokes, on the back of one it has the stacked MO MO and I think that is the only markings. I took this wheel off a Daytona I used to own when I installed an exact replica of the correct early Daytona wooden wheels. Instead of having 6 mounting holes around the inner circle, it has tons of holes (not sure on exact number... but many). I think this wheel came original on the car, that what the guy I bought it from said and he had owned it since 1973 but I don't know for sure.

    Perhaps I should sell it?
