Hi,
I recently found 301506 which was originally Doplhin Grey (6410). This was a 1965 only color for 356 and 911 ; Does someone have photos of this color on an early 911 coupe other then this one ?
Thanks, Regards
JD

Don't know if this will help, but my backdated '87 is painted Dolphin Gray. I love it. It's looks different in sun/shade, sometimes almost white.

Both very nice!
Thanks Rob, Your car is really nice. This color seem to change quite a lot with camera angle and luminosity, that why I ask for more pics.
I think it's a nice alternative to the commun ligth Ivory and the more and more popular Slate Grey !
(By the way I don't have any affiliation with the 912 photos I posted, It's the only early car photos I was able to find... It'a a 912, restored by California Classics some years ago...)
Any other ?
JD
While not a 911 it is Dolphin Gray, as stated it does change with the lighting.

Not sure,........ but I think the attached photos portray a Dolphin gray car ( Carmel, Monterey Historics Week, Cars-on -the-Avenue, '08 ). As observed, it's a color which changes depending on the light.
Before it became Ruprecht, my Porsche was a '70 911 T

I think that car is Light Grey, a special order color through '71. Please let me know if I'm wrong! Great color. Dolphin Grey looks great, too. Seems to be a "cooler" color than Light Grey- more blue, less red.

According to the Excellence article, it is Peter Hubbard's Parchment Gray 911 hot rod. TRE (Dave Bouzaglou) did the car, maybe you guys in the R Gruppe could ask him, as I think he is a member. They called the car a "911GS".
I lost the photos I have of that car on a failed HD, but the color seems "warmer"- like it has more beige/brown in it than the Dolphin Gray.
I suppose it could be the same color by another name, though.
