It's amazing that these wheels are seen so rarely nowadays on any car - back in the late '60's/early '70's they were available in an unbelievable range of sizes/widths/offsets for virtually any car imaginable.

As you say, interesting if a bit funky... wish they were 5 spoke. They've been for sale awhile, from one of our members.

I liked the picture in the auction from the 1973 Parade in Monterey...

Here are the JAP (J.A. Pearce Engineering Ltd) wheels I like. Mag. 3 piece knock-off pin drive , with hollow spokes.

This set re-fitted in 1969 (15" x 10" front, 15" x 16" rear) , to a Lotus 30 originally delivered 1964-65 in kit form to John Willment's Race Shop at Feltham, Middlesex (original wheels lotus : 8" x 13). And from the outset fitted with a GT40 289 Ford engine. Originally (or at least very early) set-up with Tecalemit Jackson fuel injection.

This is not the best photo. But the only period one I have , with the car ar rest , somewhat showing the 3 piece JAP's (car # 133). This is the only period example I have found so far, of a car running these wheels. But I would think there had to be a few more ... but maybe not.
