    Fuchs 16 X 7 944 style New In Box

    I have a pair of new in the box 16 X 7" Fuchs wheels. The 944 style wheel is the same offset as the 911, but the center of the wheel is visually outboard so it looks like a 16 X 6. The lug holes are sunk deep into the wheel and the mounting surface is more inboard. So, even though this wheel looks like a 16 X 6, it requires the same fender/wheel opening clearance as a 911-style 16 X 7. The reason you would want these is mainly for the greater caliper clearance over 911 style Fuchs.

    Okay, I hope that's clear. Offset often seems a hard concept to grasp.

    Back to the wheels. They are perfect and have no "history" so they are not cheap. $425 per wheel. Top photo.

    I also have an in-the-box wheel that somehow got a couple small dings in the outer lip. One only. Damage shown in second photo below. $360 for the one wheel.
