    July 23 or 24 BBQ and drive, family oriented, northeast NJ, NY hudson vally

    I'm tentatively planning a BBQ at my house, family is welcome to join in, and we can do a 2-3 hour drive before or after, based on weather and family stuff.....the family has a huge assortment of options, nearby parks, lots of shopping....could event shuttle them off to a large outlet mall en route to our drive....

    seems we are on for the 23rd, still deciding if we'll meet early morning, drive and then BBQ at lunch, or meet mid-day, drive and do a BBQ dinner.
