I'd rather not have any witnesses to my ham fists and butterfingers.

I'm trying to figure out why this would take more than a few minutes to do....is there more to this story, or is it an excuse to drink more beer?

The issue is that one of the previous owners managed to install a 6-pin Perma-tune box on a 69S engine that is running with points in the distributor. So I need to try to figure out how and why the hell they did this and trace what and where the extra wires are going to and what purpose they serve. I'll probably seek professional help (for the car, not for me).

And I'll be drinking a lot of beer.

See post on the bird requesting help.

Thank You Lewis. Mostly sorted out and the car is running well again. Now to organize a run. Is anybody planning on going to the PCA Concours in Norwalk on Sunday?

I've got a 'fathers day' hall pass until mid afternoon....the wife and kid would probably meet us at the cvr event....in the past, probably 4 years ago, they wouldn't let us in because we didn't preregister....is that no longer the case?

According to the PDF available at the web site http://www.cvrpca.org/ there is nothing about needing to pre-register. The only deadline is June 10 if you want to get the catered lunch. There is a phone number listed for information but it is not in service. Go figure.

According to an email I just received if you want to register the deadline is Thursday. There will be no Sunday AM registrations.
