2.2L Sticker Install - Rear window removal?

I'm planning to replace my faded 2.2L sticker on the rear window with a new one I recently bought. Has anyone done this successfully without having to remove the rear window? There doesn't appear to be a whole lot of room to manoeuvre back there. Suggestions appreciated.

Use a long handled razor blade scraper, then clean with alcohol or VERY carefully with some acetone on a swab. Cover the area underneath well if you use acetone as this will spot your vinyl.

Thanks for the replies. Jeroen914, when you say use the water with dishwashing soap is that for use before applying the sticker or afterwards to smooth away any unwanted air bubbles?
