I mounted my TM on and old ash tray so could keep original AT when wanted to pull TM also no holes needed in dash. I used wing nut on bottom to tension. Passenger can reach and see. Just a few pics have many more detailed if needed. I can remove TM cable and all and intall orig ash tray in 5 minutes.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.

I mounted my speed pilot in front of the no longer there glove box door. That way it gets light from the dash light. I've seen them mounted in the ash tray gap in the knee pad as well. Mine has a one piece knee pad. I want to do a bracket to mount the heuers above the speed pilot. The passenger side blind has been replaced w a butler lamp to light things up. I may put the two piece knee pads back in and put an old aifab (halda competor) in there. Will try and post a picture Monday.

Wow, Nice setup Maurizio, you obviously use them in the way they are intended.

I found these pictures of mounting brackets, but am not sure if they are being reproduced.

I have to admit, I'm not likely to use them in any FIA sanctioned event. I think its a cool period look, but want a clean installation, that does not intrude to much into the passenger compartment.

    Rob

I have a diagram of the dimensions of the above mount but its a TIF file and I can't upload it. I'm happy to email it if you or anyone wants it - hand drawn only.

I had a few mounts made up some time ago but gave them away...I may be able to get some more done if they kept the pattern and there was a dire need!!

Otherwise one of the recipients might loan one to copy as Milou did for me originally.
