Car transport from Indiana to Atlanta?

Anyone know of any transport companies that will bring a car from Indy to Atlanta? I've called Intercity, Horseless Carriage and the rest. I've only found one that will do it, the rest tell me flat out they won't. It has to do with the fact that most companies either run up and down the east coast, or east to west coast. They don't go midwest unless they are heading to the opposite coast.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

DeMoise (www.demoise.com) is based out of the Greenville, SC area (Greer, specifically). I've used them successfully for an west-east transport but IIRC they told me they do do north-south.

Not sure if they do short hauls, but most carriers look to work in a route pick up if possible. Check with Passport, now owned by FedEx. http://passporttransport.com/ Great service, competitively priced.

The other carrier I've used a couple of times and highly recommend is Thomas Sunday. http://www.sundayautotransport.com/index.htm

You might find a regional independent hauler (likely flatbed or open trailer) for less money in your Yellow Pages, but avoid brokers.
One guy, one truck, bonded & insured... there should be a couple to choose from in your area.

I would second DeMoise. Over the years I've used just about all of them and Bill DeMoise gives Intercity service for a lot less money!

Close but not quite. Now that you mention it though, I am looking for a Signal Yellow coupe. Do you know something I don't? Send me a PM if you know of one that is available.

I thought you might have bought this nice looking 911 from the Indy dealer Ooley Blackburn.

A curious thing about this car though was it was listed for sale by David Mohlman in CA just after this eBay auction, but using the same photos taken at Ooley Blackburn.

Anyway, thought maybe you ended up it after all this. Guess not. Be sure to give us a peek at it when your car arrives in Atlanta.
