    Interesting ad in OCTANE

    I don't know if this is the correct forum to mention a car advertised for sale in a magazine, so Chuck, I you think it belongs elsewhere....please have at it.

    Surprised to note a complete absence of discussion of an interesting car in the latest issue of OCTANE, Issue #96, June '11.

    Here's the written portion of the ad, posted by Motorsport Gallery in the UK :" '70 Porsche 911 ST race car, FIA papers, completely restored from a bare bodyshell and welded with all ST - reinforcement regardless of cost. Rollcage FIA annex K, 2.5 twin-spark race engine. aluminum doorskins, lightweight dashboard and bodypanels. This car is ready for any historic racing.....Price Euro 165,000"

    Without having seen and evaluated the car ( a small photo in the ad shows a silver ST ) that seems like a damned attractive price...if it's all there and real.
