Nice deal!
I contacted the seller about the tires for my 914 and he said the wheels sold 20 minutes after he posted. A good deal indeed.

Those rims on the left side look like deep six's to me

They are; he had 2 deep 6's w/ hearts and 2 flat 6's. Nice deal from a PCA guy in San Diego.

Yes it happened quickly I sent him an email and then rang him but deep 6's were gone so I got a deal on the flat 6's so thanks for the heads up.
Not sure if he still has all the tyres as I didn't want them and the wheels had been on a 914 he is restoring.

That's what this forum is all about! I'm checking with my mechanic to be sure 205/55 15's will fit my 914's stock 5.5" 4 lug Fuch's. My car has stock fenders, not flared and I think the ride height is pretty standard. I'm planning on auto crossing this car with my son and the current all season 195/65 tires just won't cut it!

HELP NEEDED HERE - - I've ran into a problem with my 15" Fuchs... I've had mine refurbed and the wheel stems are NOT standard... this car is 1970 911s - 15/6 wheels... the wheel stem hole is larger than those I've seen before. The wheel shop can't seem to work it out...
I ordered what Pelican said were the right ones... they weren't and they are stumped - we have a second set coming but I'm not too optimistic.
Has anyone ran into this and hopefully have a solution??
You can buy the right stem for deep wheels, the trouble is no tire company wants to be bothered looking for them. The tire seller will most likely argue that there is no such stem and they should know because they handle tires all day long. Most tire jockeys are a step up from Jiffy Lube employees which is a step up from car stereo installers - bad people to have handling your expensive rims!
