Great pic! Sounds like a great battle, I would love to hear those two engines hitting the limit side by side.

Yukon Territory, August '04, in-bound from Fairbanks. During the summers, any parts of the Trans-Alaska that need maintenance get torn-down and re-built. I'm holding-up a traffic control point. Snowed the week before. Locals got a real kick outta the M3.

'Got any air in them tires?'

1059's gonna make this same trip.

Nice, can't wait to see 1059 up there! I'm saving this pic now for the files, add to the history of where she's been. Do you still have the 318is?? That was a great example you had.

Here's my E30. While my first love is Porsche, I'll always have a special spot for this car. For me, it has been the perfect balance between fun and practical.

Hope to be soon. A friend's parents are getting older and are looking to liquidate and move. They bought it brand new in '89. It's silver with orange interior and has about 20K miles on it. It's been sitting in storage for many years. They said they'll sell it to me, but I'm not pressing the subject, I'll just wait....

Very nice, I love Alpine! Looks like pop out side windows, '88 perhaps. Wish I had the pop out windows and the non airbag wheel, makes for an easy swap to an acs or alpina wheel.

i have had quite a few e30 bmws (325i's), and absolutely loved them. favorite daily driver ever. got sick of no AC or electrical issues popping up with every e30 i got so i upgraded to a 2000 328I about 3 years ago because it was modern, and still had the same feel.

I really want to get the e30 m3 one of these days...

I have an E30 M3, but haven't driven it for over a year, as it needs some minor surgery on the floorpan (jackpoints rusted...), and it can't pass yearly inspection with the rust. I've had the car for 5 years now, used it as my daily driver for a couple of years. Car has 166.000KM, rebuilt and uprated engine, but I NEED a carbonfibre airbox and Alpha N to get that glorious S14 sound. These are some old pictures, she's on 16inch Evo wheels now, and I took off those "eyebrow" things over the headlights.

She is very pretty, love evo wheels as well, they just look right. I agree on that carbon airbox and alpha n for the full sound of the s14, but I've yet to go there as well. Perhaps when it's rebuild time, 2.5 and a pretty carbon box

    Little trip, 1st two weeks of Aug '03 --- Tustin CA/Abbottsford BC/Fairbanks AK/Dalton Highway via the Trans-Alaska Highway, aka The ALCAN . . .

    . . . and back.
