Any pictures of Bert Ohlanders cars?

Ive been speaking with Bert Ohlander in reference to an article that I am working on for Excellence. In the 60's he had a 67 S in green that supposedly has been restored recently. Anyone know of this car? He also raced a 68 L that had some psychedelic graphics in the center of the hood. Anyone know of this car?

    TIA!

Just a quick story about Bert......Bert was the only person to come up and introduce himself at the first Porsche Club meeting I went to. It was January 1968 and I had just bought my 1966 911. I was 18 years old and the only "kid" at the meeting. He sat down and we talked for a long time. He told me the story of him and Steve McQueen going down Wilshire Blvd in a 911R at 5:30 on a Sunday morning going pretty fast....many more stories over the years.
    Cheers to Bert!

    Thumbs up

Bert dove a number of other race cars while his tenure at Vasek's... 906, 910, and may be a 908

Bert was also the sales manager at Circle Porsche when our own Michael Hammond sold my car to its first owner while working for him...... small world no?

Not long ago I asked Bert if he knew where an original metal Circle Porsche license frame might be......... He said he knew of only one, and that was still on his own Mercedes... and he liked it there......

Now I know of two, his and Raj's.....

Bert has showed up at a couple of Fabulous Fifties events and has had a blast...he's VERY cool guy....

Bert was always really nice to me even as a high school kid. We ate lunch near Circle Porsche everyday and would stop in from time to time. He always treated me and my friends really well and answered any questions we had just as if we were going to buy a new Porsche. I did call him in '89 about a factory slantnose cab., but it was a little out of my budget at the time.
