WTB 65 Engine and/or Replacement Case

While rebuilding a '65 motor I' ve had a few surprises, including what seems like a cracked case, so I've decided it's time to look for a new engine while I figure out what to do with the original one.
Will pay good money for the right unit.
Same for a replacement case, if anyone had one.
Pls PM if you can help.

What is the engine serial? Please post a photo of the suspected crack.

Take some good pictures and send them to Olies in Lake Havasu. They can weld cases. It might be cheaper than a replacement and you can keep your original.

Outstanding advice, thanks! They seem to have a good track record even with substantial case repairs. I'll take the case to them as soon as I am back in the southwest. Fingers crossed......

Better than that possibly. I have seen many instances where cracks were suspected, and they turned out to be casting lines.
