    Yes. I hated to see it go to waste sitting in my basement. Now it has been sold onto a new owner..........

    Yep John, as I mentioned your repro was so nice I kept it and Luke wanted the real deal for the '69S he was restoring. Harry, you should consider one of John's, they are a great value and you'll never have to worry about someone snatching it when the car is parked.

    Oh, this is funny!

    I had two of these factory racks in my garage for years, mostly getting in the way. I dragged them to every swap meet I attended, but they never sold; no one wanted them, even for peanuts. Finally I practically gave them away...

    Luke, I was going to give you this advice, but since the rack is sold to a new owner, I will offer it up to him. Take some 0000 steel wool and buff the chrome bars. That will take off the slight corrosion and discoloration and make it shine like new.
