Hi Dave,
You can now buy new from Porsche Classic, but the black vinyl is not exact, but they are ok and not that expensive. Unfortunately they do not sell new hinges yet, so we buy later style ones and back date them by re-chroming the pivot arm.

I guess I can dye one side light ivory to match the originals. Thanks for the heads up on that. Hopefully someone can come up with the real deal too

They have the cream/bone on one side and black on the other with mirror for the passenger side, what Alan says is correct though the vinyl grain is a bit different should cost you around $167.81 US per visor
or less if you have a trade discount. Part numbers are PCG 731031 02 and PCG 731 032 02.

I will take some snaps as I had 6 sets delivered last week. Cost was a lot cheaper than $167 more like $100 each (plus VAT if within the EU). I have also spoken with a chap whom knows the chap who made them for Porsche and the story is these were rushed, and that they will be much better in the future. If they can match the vinyl then we will use them where required on all relevant LHD restorations.
Thanks
Alan

Thats the price quoted from a dealer in USA same parts are ....wait for it...$240 Aussie each even though our dollar is stronger than the US.
Go figure.................... Porsche part prices for Porsche Australia are crazy, less than 1% of world market has something to do with that.
