    Tool kit and jack location

    Hi
Off to engineering soon ( after three years of hard work!) I have a Swb 68.
Could i trouble someone for a pic of the jack, it's location and mounts. Also, where is the toolkit supposed to be stored (next to the spare I assume however does it just sit on the floor).

On another note, I need to find out how the rocker panels are finished / painted. My painter has painted the body colour all the way to almost the floor pan seam. Hmmmm... My question is where is the undercoat finish line? I've seen some pics. Basic question but I would like to ensure it's finished correctly.

    TIA

Here is a photo from the 68 manual.
As Richard stated, the jack is not mounted and therefore it has no mounts in the car.
Same for tool kit, it can be placed anywhere.

Here is an undercoat finish line. Underside never restored.
I beleive small orange color area around jack receiver might be tar coating coming off showing original chassis spray. Camera flashlight enhances this pic, in real all is really faded.

That's excellent thanks. One thing I didn't realize is that the undercoat goes above the jack receiver....

Yes the Schutz goes above the jack recv. But I believe the paint color goes lower. Need to look at my pics on other comp.. Will try to post later.
