    FS: Center Lube Cam Lines

Any interest in center lube cam lines? I have sent a set of original center lube cam lines to Cohline in Germany to duplicate the metal tube hard line sections. They will make the hard lines exactly as original with the crimp collar stop and flare. I will assemble the lines with correct single blue tracer hose as originally used back in the day. There is also have the option of the Cohline orange tracer hose if you prefer. The plating on the crimp collars and hard lines will be gold cad as original. Pricing is $250 per set. I need to sell 12 sets to make everything work out. Correct for an early Solex engine and some of the early center lube race engines. 911R / 906

Here are a few shots of the original lines sent to Cohline. Thank you to Mike Curnow for supplying the sample lines.

    Best regards,

    Brad

I'll take one set with blue tracer. Is there a way to get them in silver rather than gold?

    Thanks Guys.

    We are getting close.

John, Cohline will probably send the fittings in silver. I plan to then run a gold cad batch for all the fittings. I will be sure to set aside a few silver sets.

    Best regards,

    Brad

    Brad,

You could put me in for a set. Definitely silver cad with the blue tracer. I think John and I are going fir the early 65' look. I started this project myself and would gladly let you finish it. I have collets, flairs, nuts and slip flairs for several sets. I've also made up several of the less complicated tube sections. All of it is plated silver cad. Im in Los Angeles and would gladly ship the parts down to you. Ill try to give a call in the next few days.

Brad, as a note, some of the late 'R's / St's / RSR's do not use the nut and ferel (cutting ring) system of oil line for cam central oiling. The left side uses a hollow bolt and banjo under the distributor and a brazed 12mm Fuel like fitting at the cam cover end. The right side uses the brazed type fittings at both ends. The early 911's with cam central oiling and the 906's definitely use your nut and ferel system. I don' Know about the 914-6 GT. If the chain covers are are the RSR type (late R to 935) than the 12mm brazed lines were used. Gordon
